Music is a unique and beautiful way to connect to our faith in all types of circumstances, from weekly Sunday worship to moments of great joy and even sadness. It is an integral part of worship services at UCC Chebanse. Our praise band brings live music to our services in the form of traditional and modern hymns and songs, as well as original works composed by its members. Congregation members often join the band and lift their own voices in prayer through solo and duet performances.
In addition, this ministry extends to our congregation’s youth through our Youth Choir. Children of all ages have the opportunity to share their faith on Sundays by joining our praise band as soloists or duets, group choir performances at holidays and special Children’s Worship services, or simply playing along with hand-held instruments during regular hymns on Sundays.
